Stale satire is pointless and gory
Photographer Cindy Sherman makes her directing debut in this long, boring horror/comedy about mousy proofreader Dorine Douglas (Carol Kane) who works for a magazine company that needs to lay off employees.Fed up with being everyone's stepping stone, Dorine bumps off her fellow coworkers and disposes the bodies in her basesment to better her chances of getting ahead.
