"Pretty Good 80's Comedy-Drama!"
Jon Cryer, Keith Coogan, Annabeth Gish star in this 1987 comedy-drama. Cryer (Pretty in Pink) plays Andrew, a mid 20's stockbroker whose on the run when he's targeted by hit men working for a former business associate/mobster awaiting trial. Andrew decides to masquerade as student, Maxwell at a high school where his nerdy cousin, Patrick (Coogan) attends and hides there. He soon becomes popular and finds romance with female student, Ryan (Gish) who eventually learns his real identity. I watched this growing up and always thought it was pretty good. Cryer is great in it and he and Gish have good chemistry. I recommend this.score 6/10
