Okay, so if we compile a list of who's interested, maybe give that until this Friday 18 March, then suggest books over the next week, finalising it for next Friday 25 March (gives an extra week for people to finish what they are reading and allow more people to prepare if they are interested)? Also if the books are all available on Kindle it would be a big help as that's pretty much all I use for reading...

Ok can we all thank Decadence first post on this thread to see who is interested in taking part.

I might be interested in this too if the books aren't too heavy going data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I've kinda suspended my book buying owing to a "to-read pile" that sadly has actually increased so could not justify buying more books. If coincidentally one of those was on the list then I would happily partake data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I already know which books I would suggest mind and they really are perfect because they are nothing like the crime/sci-fi male orientated demographic that seems to dominate AVF book readers mwahahaha

Not all of us like books on rainbows, unicorns and kittens mate data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

My suggestions would be:

Plaque of the Dead: The Morning Star Strain by Z. A. Recht (Zombie Horror)

Ubik by Philip K Dick (Sci-Fi)

Hard Landing by Stephen Leather (Thriller)

I've never read any of these books before and two of the authors are completely new to me so I don't know what they'll be like but I liked the sound of them on Amazon. All books are available on paperback and Kindle.

Aren't Stephen Leather supposed to be awful?

Lets read one and find out data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Should we just pick one from WibXL's list to kick things off? I think a suggestion above was to have a different member choose 3 to vote from each time, here could be a good place to start?

Stephen Leather book is only £0.49 on Kindle, that'll do. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
