Wiseguy: Nicholas Pileggi: 9781439184219: Amazon.com: Books

And
Amazon.com: The Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer: Philip Carlo: Books

Are both decent reads.

Good isn't it?
No worries, I'll have a think if there's any others I've read.

I can whole-heartedly recommend Cosa Nostra by John Dickie. I understand he has since penned an authoritative book on the 'ndrangheta but I have yet to pick it up. Mario Puzo's The Godfather] remains the seminal fictional work and it is a book far more intelligently composed than the nonetheless remarkably good film.

Cosa Nostra: A History of the Sicilian Mafia: Amazon.co.uk: John Dickie: @@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51%@@51+Hxw0b6PL

It's fiction but I would recommend Gangsters by Lorenzo Carcatera.Fantastic book.

Boss of Bosses the book about Paul Castellano is excellent and Selwyn Raab's Five Families is a must have.
