Roland Cube Lite (or similar practice amp)

hi

i was looking for a practice amp for the house and came across this

CUBE Lite MONITOR: Monitor Amplifier | Roland CONNECT 2013

looks like it would be a good package, anyone any thoughts on it?

ultimately i'd like to record some songs with garage band or something (my main computer is a MBP) but i'm new to all this so not sure of the best route to take

thanks

I have one on order - I ordered it from Stringsdirect but seems they're out of stock data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I've downloaded the accompanying app (Cube Jam), that looks really useful for practice. 2-3 weeks apparently, which is a tease data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Compare with a Yamaha THR10 before parting with any money. Yes it costs more but the sound it produces is staggering. Hard to describe the sound best check out Soren Anderson demo on Youtube which shows how it acts like a real valve amp at really low volume..
