Typical misleading headline banner to suck people in. Which someone quite possibly hoped for, but as yet, no serious bite. I seem to remember learning that the Jewish population of Germany was pretty well integrated into German society and that didn't stop the rise of the far right and Nazis there. There are always excuses but never reasons. Take it up with the Guardian.. I think the idea was to expose that.
