Again there is this word regulation without actually saying what should be regulation, what the regulations should be, nor who should be regulating? Care to expand?

But not to a global audience which is a significant change. This leads to public humiliation on a grand scale.
Whilst this would be difficult even for an adult I think for a child it is absolutely devastating.

We’ve let the genie out of the bottle. One of the biggest conundrums of our time is how to contain and constrain that genie.

Clearly, the major difference is that school yard bullying (generally) stops at the school gates, so kids being bullied can at least get away from it at home. The difference with social media/online bullying is that it's 24x7 so kids can't get away from it.
Unfortunately, social media of all forms is just another way for nasty people to bully others but that's not to say it's also a good medium for positive things too.Like all things, some humans are just scum and abuse whatever they can for their own gains.

You're confusing physical bullying with the psychological effects of bullying.
Bullying is a 24/7 problem for the victim, how/where the bullying happens is not the issue.

I'm stating that young people base the bulk of their lives around online presence so it's almost impossible to get away from those bullies.Whilst you're right that bullying victims never really get away from it psychologically outside of school, to still have online bullying going on as well makes matters even worse.

Actually it is really easy to get away from online bullies.

And you mentioned regulation, an easy thing to say. But you aren't saying what you want regulation to do, who should regulated, what the regulation should be. Care to expand?

I had no idea you were a teenager? Maybe you should let your peers know that they can easily get away from online bullying.

My solution is easy - close the whole stinking mess down.It had the opportunity to be a force for good.Unfortunately that ship has sailed and what we appear to be left with is news manipulation and just plain nasty behaviour, man at his worst.
