I’m using social media as my guide because that’s the outlet where these fringe groups build up whatever inadvertent likes/shares they can by misleading people who maybe are genuinely ‘patriotic’, with memes about soldiers/poppies/brown people.You’re welcome to laugh at the suggestion (have you liked/shared their memes at all?) but giving idiots a voice and an echo chamber just helps them assume further support.
I’d be pretty surprised if that happened seeing as these right wing groups abusing the flag are a minority and hopefully always will be.
