I think Trump should arrange a meeting actually in North Korea. That way we might have a chance of never hearing from that buffoon again.

I don't like Trump any more than you do. However, Trump isn't the one launching missiles at random. I'd take Trump over Kim Jong-un any day.

I'd take Trump over KJU of course but there's a real lack of understanding in the Trump Admin which is dangerous. NK arent "begging for a war", they could've easily started a fairly devastating war already. NK are trying to deter the US and stop them practising war games around their borders and also eventually have power during any bargaining. They're crazy in that their actions are taking the world to the brink of nuclear war but they're also rational in their ultimate aim of being left alone and stopping any "regime change". The Trump admin seem to fail to see the bigger picture which is so dangerous. Anyway, no doubt there'll be more missile tests very, very soon, I just hope they stay away from Guam and none of their tests fail in mid flight or accidentally hit Japan. We need some heavily diplomacy very soon but I can't see where it'll come from.

Trump has the diplomacy skills of a Hurricane, if he was left to negotiate with KJU I can't imagine how it could go well.Either KJU is "securing his borders" or he's hell bent on Global domination. If the former, perhaps he needs to be left alone for a bit.If the latter, well then, we're all stuffed.

He'd have to be suicidal to want global domination, if he launches an attack NK will be vapourised in minutes. It's all about a nuclear deterrent so he doesn't end up like Hussain or Gaddafi. The Trump admins diplomacy and reading of the situation is a disaster and could very easily lead to a nuclear war.

This is nothing that can't be solved with a cup of tea and some biscuits.

British soldiers should have 'cups of tea' with Islamic State terrorists, says Jeremy Corbyn ally

No, we'd not be. He'd like us to think that. Worse case scenario, he'd take out one or two city's.
Don't get me wrong, that would be terrible. But we'd not all be stuffed. Not by a long shot.

this is what I've believed to be the case for a while.

I can't see a good ending here, the longer NK are left they more advanced and dangerous they will become. I'm not sure what the answer is either, tougher sanctions are possible but that won't stop them, just likely make them more desperate.
