President Trump to visit UK in July.

So we finally have a date for the visit. It will not be a full state visit but nevertheless it will be an important and symbolic visit.
Of course we can expect protests, but I hope we can extend our welcome in the same way that we do for all visiting heads of state.

Maybe, now is the time to take a fresh look at his time in office?
Certainly it has not been the end of the US as we know it. The economy did not tank, and WW3 did not break out (at the time of writingdata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
In fact, the Korea situation looks very promising. No other President has been anything like as effective.
The US economy is doing well and the employment rate has improved significantly. We may see him be re-elected for a second term.

We know he doesn't do things like a career politician, but that is understandable being a businessman.Maybe that is a good thing. He has many faults and many minorities dislike him because of what he has said.

But the fact remains, he is the President of the USA, a close ally and we should politely welcome him.

Its only one day. The man needs a full state visit asap. Looking forward to seeing what kind of protest Antifa can scrap together and any other groups, the more attention the better.

I'd just prefer if we didn't have to appear in the `He's a Porn Star survivor celebrity apprentice President get him out of there` Trip to the UK reality TV show episode.

It's just embarrassing and humiliating much like when politicians meet the 'yooofs' and try to connect by having a 70yr old man from Chalfont St Peter joining in a rap battle with 14yr old kid from Toxteth - and we are all supposed to take it seriously for the sake of decorum.

He's the one that keeps bottling it, yet some, like uber brown nosers Farage and Hopkins, think we have to blame ourselves for that - you wouldn't get Americans blaming themselves if the situation was reversed.

Pretty sure there hasn't been a state visit announced as there's a bit of fear of their being a reaction from those on the left.

It should be fun to watch. I can't wait for the apoplectic rage the protesters will cause in numpties like Farage.

Finally our president has decided to pay us a visit. I look forward to the unusual experience of feeling sorry for Treesa when she has to hold hands with him again. Hopefully the video of him getting ******** by Russian ****** will finally drop and save everyone the hassle though.

I've often wondered who to dislike most out of that meeting. On the one hand there's a leader who's proving ever more unpopular, seems completely out of their depth, has a narcissistic streak, is possibly racist but defended rabidly by a small bunch who think they can do no wrong. On the other hand there's Donald Trump.

Speaking of Russians, ideal opportunity for them to put a stooge on a grassy knoll

In lieu of the state visit, we've apparently had to cede some ground to cater for his ego and win some favour for a future trade deal.
