Never imagined obtaining quotes would be so difficult! I called myenergi (the manufacturer) who gave me the contacts of 2 local installers. One of them spoke at length on the phone and promised to call me back within a day with quotes. It's been 6 days now, no response from them yet (despite me calling them yesterday morning to chase it up and being promised to be called yesterday).

The other installer says they've not yet been commissioned for installing myenergi products, and will contact me when that happens (not sure why myenergi have me their contact details then!).

^ perhaps as this is so new, the installer has to be trained by the manufacturer - all this takes time.

Sure, but why would the manufacturer then give the contact details without mentioning this?

Anyway, I called the manufacturer who was helpful on the phone. She chased up the quote with the first installer for me who then emailed me the quotes. It wasn't clear however, whether the quote considered the OLEV grant or not. Waiting for a response to my question now. I've been given a couple more numbers by the manufacturer, so I'll call them for a quote.
