Just seasoned it so far.
The instructions that came with it say season/cure it for 3 days. Where other sites say 5/6 days for around 5 hours each day.
I work 12 hours shifts (just finished this morning) so was only able to keep a fire going for a few hours each day, so thought I would allow a full 5 days to season it

I have noticed 2 hairline cracks in the outer render (this is totally normal) and the front soot up quite a bit (again normal). I have only took it to around 250deg.

I will be getting it to full temp today and will cook a pizza and also bought some thick steaks to do in it too for our tea.
I will post the results later.

Already bought pasata, 2 types of cheese and a platter of mixed meat.
Just made the base dough and waiting for it to rise, then will fire her up.

Had a bit of a nightmare.
Me and the girlfriend went shopping to look at some garden gates and I dropped one on her foot.
Result..... next 3 hours in A&E with a suspected broken foot.
Relieved to find its only bruised though.

Anyhow, made my first pizza and it was probably the best I have ever tasted. Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle.

We then had steak for main course, will post that later, but it was a little over cooked for my liking (medium well done when I like rare), but had a lovely smokey taste that liked more than the partner. A little more learning required I think.

Blimey, the oven doesn't look all that heavy but 450kg is a lot of weight.
