Critique my breakfast thread

https://www.avforums.com/attachments/c40a30ba-fb51-484a-9846-ee843908f371-jpeg.958635/       First up.....an obvious omission being the lack of black pudding and the split fried egg from my last full English of 2017

Too many beans... needs some tomatoes... bigger cup of coffee.

Wine prices are reasonable.

Needs black pudding!

Greg Hook Publish time 26-11-2019 04:51:36

No black pudding is a winner!

But, too many beans, needs another sausage and rasher of bacon.

Other than that, I will score it 5 out of 7.

I’ll be over in 5, keep mine warm.

Hash browns, home fries or any other potato product that the Americans need to get through to lunch, have no place on an "English Breakfast" plate. Scrape it off and replace with black pudding and I'll forgive the busted egg.

Seriously - black pudding is high in protein, rich in iron and low in fat (typically 5%).
It really is a health food, used a bit olive oil spray if you want to keep it lean.

Bacon - Extra rasher
Sausage - Replace with Lorne
Beans - Too much
Egg - Extra fried

Lose the mushrooms
Lose the hash browns

Replace with a slice of black pudding, haggis, tomato and a tattie scone!

Second up...

Right. I don't eat eggs so that's not the breakfast's fault. However there was not only no option of black pudding but no option of bleeding beans either. Or anything else for that matter.
