The forum's Kitchen.

I'm wanting to bring the kitchen back to life, I'm spending far too much time on Facebook and I'm getting into trouble. Yes that much trouble that the wife suggestedvisiting this place again.

This leads me onto this thread, id like to restart the kitchen thread. It gives me something to do and to be honest I can cook better than half the rubbish people cook in some of these restaurants I've visited and tasted.

So to move forward,

All my meat dishes will be either Lamb, chicken or beef and vegetarian.

All ingredients will be from a Asian/ easy to get to store. Everything will be easy to follow and in easy to manage segments so we can all cook the food. No specialist tools or equipment will be used.

All food will take no more than 2 hours to cook, usually under 1 hour.

I am not sponsored by any company.

All food will serve 4 people.

All dishes will be of medium spice/ chilli. As an Asian the palette will not accept anything less.

I will take pictures and show it in a easy to measure example.

Is anyone interested, if so please leave a simple yes or no, I'd like to concentrate on Asian in particular Pakistani - Pashtun (arguablyAfghan) types of food although I'm open to suggestions.

If anyone wants to contribute with their choice of food or wants to start it off I'd be happy for them to contribute and we can all learn to cook from each other and dare I say one day possiblyhave a "come dine with me".

We have a separate food and drink forum, if you want to post recipes that would be the best place to do it.

Interested in any curry dishes. Didn't you post a recipe with pictures before @Ayub ?

We are a big fan of coconut milk based dishes in this house, nyonya, laksa, goan fish curry (replacing fish with chicken). We usually have kits from SimplyCook - I can supply referral for anyone wishing to try them.

There are a few curry threads in the food and drink forum, I'm not sure which are discussions and which are recipes though. I see no harm in starting a new thread though as I think the others are a few years old.
