looking to buy treadmill which model £800

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a treadmill from Restyle fitness and wondered if anyone had used them and had any opinion on them before I order one tomo.

Also anyone got one the following models

Horizon Elite 507 (£699 reconditioned)
Horizon T4000 (£619 reconditioned)
Nordic Track T14.2 (goign to be around £700 new)
Nordic Track T15 (going to be about 800 reconditioned)

I can get the T14.2 for around £700 from powerhouse fitness brand new with discount code where as restlyle are reconditioned and only 6 months warranty.

Can't decide if extra feature and stability of the T15 is worth the additional £100 or not as it wont come with the extended warranty or Ifit etc.

Can't decide which model to buy need something which will handle near daily running with anything up to 10 km runs and HIITS.

£800 about my limit since I can't make it to the gym these days due to location, family and work commitments

Have you considered Tunturi as a brand?

I had but they are above my price band.

Just bought the elite 507 after discussing with Nigel on merits of both. Think i got a good deal and decided I didn't need the bell and whistles of the Nordic.

Good decision. Incidentally I am looking to move on a barely used Tunturi T20, that is folded up in the garage doing nothing, so may list it here in theads when I get back from the States.

What's the best Mat to buy for treadmill as it be on a concrete floor. I see Argos does them but is 6mm thick enough to dampen noise

i got a nordic track t13, which is the same as the T14 but without the touchscreen. I'm not a keen runner, but do around 3-4 10 mins bursts a day.
I find it great for my needs. came from restyle and got for £520. It had only 4 miles on it and a couple of hours as it was ex demo.

Has plenty of programs but none that you can create yourself - that I have found yet.

It came on a pallet and is very big. built like a tank. Nigel at restyle recommended this over the T14 for my needs. Had if for around a month so far with no issues.

hope that helps

Just been looking at treadmills myself so would be looking for any advice at all.
The Horizon T4000 popped up at around £900 which seems to get good reviews but after reading this thread the Nordic Track T14 has just entered the mix.

Any advice between the two, maybe others I should consider?

Thanks all.

I own a horizon 507 elite treadmill which I baught from DodgetheViper off these forums last summer. Rock solid treadmill and I am still using it.

As for the matt get the thickest one you can get your hands on, mrs orignaly got one off amazon market place and the 507 cut through. A cheapo but much thicker one off eBay is holding up well

After walking into Fitness Superstore earlier today to have a browse I placed an order for a Horizon 507 Elite.
Seems to be a well recommended treadmill. Felt quite solid for the short run I tried on it.
Really looking forward to it being delivered now data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Hope they handle the install for you.

When I got home despite getting a few hands to help I ended up dismantling it. Horizon support were pretty good with explaining how to remove the motors.
