I reckon Phaal is the daddy, but the relative fieriness of a given curry will vary between restaurants. From what I gather, it depends what region the owner/chef(s) are from.

Personally, my fav is the Punjabi. Similar flavours and consistency to a Jalfrezi but with a fair bit more kick. Not oily either (at least at my local!)
