Can the xbox one download games when off?
Can anyone please tell me the procedure how to download games when the xbox is off????? If you're using instant on, then yes.Just make sure that your Xbox is set as your home console.
You can download games remotely either via the web or the Xbox app.
If you're downloading something when the console is on and then you turn it off, as long as you don't power it down completely(holding down the power button so it goes to power save mode), the download will continue.
This also works when installing from discs. Yes. just set your power mode to instant on instead of energy saving and make sure you have set your storage device to always on. It explains the difference between the two power modes and what your console will and won't do when in Instant-on versus Energy-saving modes. Yes with instant on turned on This is right Go to settings and then change the power settings to instant turned on... some times I get games while I'm at work and when I get home they are already downloaded.
