LG B9,C9 G-sync

Might not be the best place to ask , but i'll try anyways ,

LG's B9 and C9 TV's now have G-Sync built in to them ( and refresh rate of 120)
Does anyone have one ?
do you use it for gaming ?
any down sides ?

the B9 (55in) can be had for £1100 (55in)and the C9 for about £1400 is the C9 worth the extra 300 quid ?

Haha , that's the vid that gotme thinking about the LG TV's ,
how ever be a bit of waste of money for me , as theTVonly supports the RTX 20** and 16** cards

and im not going buy a new a new GPU and TV for the sake of 120FPS on a TV !!!!!

( Well , so i keep telling my self )

I've got the 55" B9 and absolutely love it. TBH I use a Xbox One X for most of my gaming - it looks amazing. But I'm looking to see if I can pick up a RTX2070 super at a decent price in the Black Friday sales. No luck yet though.

As far as I can see, the difference between the B9 and the C9 is the processor that is used. I researched this extensively before I bought the TV. And their seems to be no real discernible difference in picture quality. It's mostly motion control that is affected and as I hate the soap opera effect It's not an issue for me, as I disable it. However the main reason I went with the B9 was that the stand is a lot smaller. If the C9 had come with the smaller stand or I was able to wall mount it I would have gone for the C9. Although I doubt it's worth the extra £300.

Yea been looking at the B9 , done a bit of research . and as you say - their really isn't much between them , there was one thingin the back of mind that icouldn't remember the reason for ,
so went back to linus's vid , then it hit me i would need a RTX or 16** to use the tv and get the full 120hz at 1440p ( not to fust about 4k - isn't much between them in my eyes )

but ! justcan't afford a new GPU as well , and not when my 1080ti is still going strong !!

if it wasn't for just forking out £3400 for new Doors and windows , i'll have been all over this .
think i'll put this hold for the time been ..

That's why I'm looking at a RTX2070 Super but I can't justify spending more than £400 when I mostly game on my Xbox One X.

Gaming on my PC is almost exclusively for using VR with my Oculus Rift but it's a pain to set up. I use a GTX980Ti atm with the option to SLI as I have 2 identical EVGA cards. So like you I have no real need to upgrade. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
