Gaming PC-limited budget

I'm sure this question gets asked a lot, so apologies. I would like to buy a gaming pc and all that goes with it such as the monitor. Only have a limited budget around £500. Would anyone be so kind as to help. Would consider refurbished item if necessary

Buying brand new with prices from Amazon, maybe start with this as a guideline. It's a little over £500 but there'd be a huge compromise of using a CPU with built in graphics if going much lower than this.

Dell SE2417HG monitor £93
Ryzen 5 2600 £114
Gigabyte B450M Gaming £60
Patriot Viper 4 (2x4gb) 3000MHz £35
XFX RX570 8gb £127
Kingston SSD A400 480GB £39
Evga 600 W1 PSU £40
Any generic case £30
Generic mouse & keyboard £20
Windows 10 code online £10
Total = £568

Or you could look at buying a used Ryzen based system with an RX570 or similar for lower than this.

How do I order this with Amazon, is there a link you could give me? Will this monitor be good enough, I read something about needing a 144hz or is this not correct?

If possible could you explain the kind of performance I could expect with this system. It would be for a child who plays the usual games, fortnite etc.

Is the RX570 a significant downgrade?

Many Thanks

There is no need for a 144hz monitor, especially for a child who will only play fortnite and Minecraft.144Hz monitors are more on an enthusiats option.
www.amazon.co.uk (or your regional equivalent) and then just type the items into the search bar.

Thanks again, this looks like I have to build this myself? I was hoping for an 'off the shelf'package as I have no experience of putting together a PC or is this not the case?

TBH, you will be hard pushed to get a prebuild for £500.The only ones you see are ebay specials that pretend to be a gaming pc when in fact they are little more than 10 year old office pc with an rgb keyboard.

Putting a computer together is pretty easy, there are plenty of guides on youtube that go through the steps needed. The only hard thing is if things do not work, and figuring out what went wrong.

I wouldn't want to attempt it to be honest, not for a child's present. I'll have to go back to the drawing boards
