To be fair, I think people just love to moan these days.
I was far from impressed with the initial reveal, worst trailer they could have released in many ways for a BF game. But the E3 gameplay vids we are now seeing from YouTubers I think look good.
They have implemented a lot of new things it looks like, such as new movement mechanic, building, squad rewards (kill streaks?), destruction, a new game mode (which I think sounds pretty epic) to mention a few. I think some of the gameplay footage looks quite a bit like Bad Company 2, perhaps due to the building and destructions element on that map, but yeah.
The main criticism I have is the pace and style of the game. I think a lot of the features sound great and will make team work and the game in general much more tactical, especially the building element, dragging bodies to revive, limited ammo for vehicles which then need to go and re-supply etc. All sound great to me, BUT, with the game being so fast paced, the impact of a lot of this stuff could be lost. It looks so fast paced in every way, running speed, ADS speed, reload speed etc., a lot of the tactical elements I feel could just be overlooked. If everything was a bit slower I think it would tie in with the new features really well... but it is looking like the fastest BF to date, which is the main disappointment for me.
