Phone upgrade choices for my mother in her seventies

Hi All

I have finally convincied my mother to upgrade from an iphone SE. She is going to move to Android
and I am currently weighing up the options for her. She will probably buy the phone outright and then
get a sim only contract.

I expect £260-£300 maximum to but the handset and would appreciate any tips. I am looking for a
fast reliable phone with a decent lightweight Android implementation, good battery life and a
camera array that punches above it's weight. She doesn't need a massive screen.

What would you recommend?

Many thanks

pocophone f1 is well within budget, fast, great cameras, 4000mah battery, if she doesn't need ncf. there's not many flagship phones that can beat it for the money. in fact i dont know of anything in the market that is cheaper, faster and higher spec. as it's made by Xiaomi it will be reliable.

Why is she moving to Android? Is it simply price or some other reason?
You need to ask if she is able to easily adapt to a new OS.
Will she use or need the features of a over £250 Android phone?

I would try and push to the Pixel 3a, fantastic camera and very easy to use
