Android graphic equalizer for Tidal

I have a One Plus 3 phone and have just got a Pioneer XDP 300r portable DAP that also runs android. I use Tidal for music on both.

I've also just recently bought my first ever pair of bluetooth headphones.

The phone has a graphic equalizer but it doesn't work with Tidal. The DAP has a graphic equalizer but that only works on the built in player which you can't use to play Tidal tracks you've made available offline.

Anyone know of an equalizer app that will work with Tidal on android? Preferably over Bluetooth also?

Thanks...

Anyone got a solution for this?

You need to look at a system wide equalizer.

I think it has something to do with the DRM that prevents the audio being passed to other apps such as EQ apps

It may only be possible if rooted, then you have decent options such as

Viper4Android
Dolby Atmos
Ainur Sauron

Cheers for this.

I have actually found a non-rooting solution.

I have found an app called REEQ:

RE Equalizer

Fantastic equalizer app that works on Tidal and everything else. It also works really well over Bluetooth too.

Full version is £1.99 but well worth it. I've installed it on my Pioneer DAP and it works an absolute treat.
