Response/Friedland SA5 voice dialler problem

I was wondering whether there were any users/installers out there who could offer advice on an old SA5 alarm control panel which no longer makes voice calls when alarms are triggered.

It's been working fine for years, but I noticed a couple of months ago that it no longer makes voice calls when the alarm is triggered. The yellow Line Status LED flashes continuously, even though the phone line that it's plugged into seems fine - i.e. I can plug a phone into it, hear a continuous dial tone and make calls without any problems.

When I test the Voice Dialer from the Test menu the Line Status LED flashes twice, then turns sold yellow and it appears to attempt to dial my 3 enabled phone numbers in turn. None of the numbers are actually called however. After trying the 3 numbers it bounces back to the "Voice Dialler" menu option, and the Line Status light starts flashing again.

Any ideas for possible causes/fixes to this problem?

I have the same problem on the Response SL6 also - any ideas?
