Drayton wiser configuration question

A couple months back had a Drayton wiser kit 3 installed (3 channel system, 2 thermostats DHW)

Also got a couple wiser TRV's...awaiting for an offer before I buy more.

Trying to figure out how best to "ease of use" for the wife as she works different days. At the moment the schedules turn all the heating off between 8:30 and 4:30 during the week.

But sometimes she's is off during week and now weather is starting to get colder looking for a solution for the system to heat when she is there as easy as possible.

Got Alexa's around the house but I believe they only boost a room/thermostat for an hour.

Looked a little into IFTTT but don't really understand how that could help me https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/joypixels/[email protected]/png/64/1f926-2642.png

Do you have Hue? You could use some Hue PIRs with IFTTT so that if they detect motion between certain hours they turn the heating on for a given period. That way as long as the PIrs are being triggered, the heating is kept on ?

No don't have Hue

This maybe an alternative then

Home Alarm System with WiFi PIR Motion Sensor, Mini PIR Sensor IOS and Android Compatible for Alexa Google TUYA/Smart Life App: Amazon.co.uk: Business, Industry & Science

As it will allow you to do the same thing but using WiFi rather than Hue's Zigbee

Surely there must be a way with some sort of app?

I can't be the only person who needs a variable heating scheduled

What about geo location, if you an app report its location them if it is at home then switch heating on.

We have the wiser kit in our house and find that if I ask Alexa to set a temperature rather than boosting it it stays on until I manually intervene. The other option is to use the app and just raise the set point when needed.

Although I do agree that there should be an option for multiple schedules, especially for the likes of guest rooms.
