Tado V2 or V3

So i have been umming and arring about tado for sometime and my current thermostat (a wireless honeywell) is dying so gives me a great excuse to upgrade. Looked at the Nest and our house is too unpredictable to use it. I know i need a starter kit and because ive already got wireless, i need the extension also.

Is it still worth buying the V2 starter kit?
Whats the difference between V3 and V2? from what ive read, the V3 is apple home care compatible and thats the only difference.

Thanks

Purely from a thermostat perspective, I don't believe there is any difference between v2 and V3.
HomeKit support was added via the new Bridge that shipped with the V3/V3Starter Kits, so you could always buy the v2 Thermostat and then upgrade the Bridge at a later date if you decided you wanted to enable HomeKit.
