Gopro Threeway Best Option
i have recently purchased a GoPro Hero 2018 and was looking for an extendable stick , a handheld grip and a tripod.There are lots of choice on Amazon but I was wondering if the GoPro threeway is the best option as it covers all bases.
All opinions or alternatives welcome. If you have a look in Amazon there are a number of sticks at various prices. Personally I have no interest in "selfies"//static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/facepalm.gif I know what I look like.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Whilst it may be seen as a selfie stick, an additional benefit is the ability to film above crowds. If you arrive late at an event you can film whatever action remains from above, with the option ( in EDIT ) of cropping out any errors.
A high view-point gives better special awareness to an event.
Tens,teens and 20's appear to need selfies to prove they visited "somewhere with friends" - no doubt in time they may wish they'd settled for a few pictures just of the places they visited.... but that's life.
Hope you enjoy filming with the GoPro, but beware that films using wide-angle views mean you get a lot of sky and ground, with the people somewhat smaller.
