I can se wlad clinching at every opportunity ( and he will get away with it) and wearing Haye down and the ref stopping the fight prematurelyin thelater rounds

Iccz Publish time 2-12-2019 21:44:00

It's certainly a possibility.

But I still think Haye has a great chance, Wlad doesn't always go for the clinch, sometimes he tries a step back while throwing in a left hook.
They'll both have their game plan, depending who gets on top will mean we could have an exciting fight or a very boring one.

Yep we can only wait, I'm looking forward to the macklin fight this wknd , just wondering which macklin turns up !!

Iccz Publish time 2-12-2019 21:44:01

Absolutely, should be a great fight, I'm hoping he can get the KO otherwise he could struggle, it's not a fight to go for on points. Should be interesting though.

As this fight is in Hamburg, Germany. What time is the Main event scheduled for BST?

Johnny P Publish time 2-12-2019 21:44:01

It won't be in the early hours of the morning like the fights in America. I think coverage starts at 8pm so we can expect the main event around 10pm-11pm.

Is that on Sky Sports? Had an offer through from Sky the other day for 12 months half price   £100 account credit if I add Sky Movies of Sky Sports, tempted if mainly to catch some boxing as terestrial doesn't get any boxing at all these days and I'm sick of streaming with my crap connectiondata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Is there much boxing on Sky Sports aside from the obvious PPV? Is the only sport I bother watching but never having had a subscription for Sky Sports I don't know how much boxing gets shown really, is it pretty much weekly in general(I mean including non title fights etc.)?

Johnny P Publish time 2-12-2019 21:44:02

They show quite a lot of "free" boxing - eg. Non-PPV.

They also broadcast the Prizefighter events which can be quite entertaining.

Tetlee Publish time 2-12-2019 21:44:02

Ah, forgot about the Prizefighter events, some of those have sounded interesting. Good to hear there's a fair amount of non PPV boxing(and I should have a good back catalogue through skyplayer on the Xbox), think that's good enough for me, going to call tomorrow so hopefully be on in time for the Macklin fightdata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Quick question regarding Sky Sports.

Which of the Sky Sports does the boxing tend to be on, Sky Sports 1 or 2?

I'm hoping it isn't split between the two as don't really want to pay for both when the only sport I watch is boxing.
