UK Christmas break - 2 nights with entertainment - any suggestions?

Hello folks,
we're thinking of taking a couple of days away at Christmas, staying over Christmas eve and Christmas night.
We want somewhere in central England ideally with entertainment and Xmas dinner included.
Hopefully something which is going to entertain the teenage kids.
Any ideas or suggestions please?
Many thanks.

Be interested in this too. I went to a hotel in Bournemouth for xmas one year as a kid. Great fun.

Two choices spring to mind on this one..!

Either : Centre Parcs or Butlins..

Centre Parcs is more of a relaxed environment, to unwind in..

Then Butlins is more lively, has live bands and lots to do for the kids. The Butlins in Skegness has just had 12 million pounds spent on a new aqua park recently..

Me myself after having been to centre parcs 3 times in the past.. I would say get yourself to Butlins for sure.I hope to go their myself sometime soon..From what I have seen it looks really good..

Centerparcs do a minimum 4 night stay over Xmas. They can, for £50 have a Christmas tree with decorations and lights waiting for you when you get there, which is a nice touch.
It's the best part of £1,500, though, before you book any additional activities.   It's a lot, really.

Butlins is much cheaper, but I think is oriented more towards younger kids.Mine are in their mid-teens and the activities are oriented more towards younger children.
Maybe the bar is where the mid-teenage kids would most want to be, anyway.
Again it's a 4 night stay, which is a bit longer than ideal.
