Ryan Air Tips For Sitting Together
So i'm due to go on my stag do in less than 10 days so i can now check in online. There are 13 of us going so looking if there are any tips for sitting together when checking in online.Ryan Air seem really pushy at selling allocated seating at £8 each, which we don't really want to do for a 1:30hr flight, but it would be nice to sit together. If we don't buy the allocated seating they will allocate random seats instead.
Just wondered if any of you have done this previously and have any tips with sitting together without paying the extra.
For example:
Is it best to check in the whole group in one, will that give us a greater chance?
Is it better to do it in couples?
Is it better to do it in 3's (i assume it's a 3 seat either side of the aisle).

but, why do you all need to sit together anyway? I think the price changes depending on the seats. My recent flight was £6 a seat. I ended up doing it so I could do the check in for my return flight where I wouldn't have had access to a printer. £8 ones were seats in better locations. What does this bit mean?
Also they have apps now for your boarding pass so you don't need a printout - if it works data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I was informed on the RyanAir site that our destination (Marrakech Menara Airport) only supported paper boarding passes, so had no choice! Otherwise I'm all for using apps. Our return was also 8 days after our departure so just outside the free check in window. Lat time I made a booking it was for 2 of us.
I made the booking myself so when it came to checking in, I was asked (online) about buying seats so that we could sit together.
For £6 each (or whatever it was) i thought sod that.
I checked us both in, one after the other and it sat us together anyway!
