Ipod 2009

I have an old ipod (2009)- which works perfectly well.

I also have a Bose Sound dock Series 3,

The ipod ,which I think has a 30 pin connector, will not connect to it!

Is there a suitable adaptor I could buy?

Kind Regards

What sort of IPod is it? If its a touch I think the 2009 version would have had Bluetooth and apparently you can get an official BT adaptor for the Bose which might be an option for you.

Thanks for the reply.

It is an ipod nano.

I will look at your suggestion.

Does the nano have BT? I think the much later ones do but I'm not sure if yours would.

No I don't think it has blue tooth.

I have spoken to Bose and they have recommended a lightning adaptor 8 pin female to 30 pin male.

Not too sure where to buy one - the ebay models specify "not for audio"

This adapter on Amazon claims to work (with some docks), the seller also says that if it does not work they will fully refund without having to return it.
