ANCIENT portable radio

My neighbour has asked me to help him clear out his attic and take rubbish to the dump.
Amongst other things he threw out an absolutely ancient valve portable radio.
He had no idea where it came from (left behind by a previous owner?) or what it was.
I opened it up and just wondered whether anybody could recognise it or would like it before I ut it in a skip at the weekend?

It weighs a ton, includes four valves and various wires are broken so it will never work without major restoration.

I have attached a number of photos.

The make & model is readable and google has results eg
New Screened Portable Radio Burndept Ltd. London, build

I'd probably have a go on EBay with that, if it were mine.

Any collectors of oldish valve radios should be interested in that.
I know that Burndept produced well thought of transceivers in the mid 1970s because I came across them in my Royal Signals days.
