What car value to put down for insurance?

Thanks everyone. For further clarification I got in touch with my dealer (Highland Audi), they advised me I should declare the full list price (RRP) of the vehicle on my insurance. They said its a common question asked by new car buyers. Though 'My Aviva' is down at present so can't see what effects the £39k valuation would have on my premium.
