Spoke to my friend and she's leaning towards Krakow.

Budapest would be my choice but hey ho, that's women for you

Planning a couple of days on a coach trip early December so many choices though it gets confusing! Any other tips?

I went to a small town called Kall about 15 years with a german mate (he was living in the Netherlands) and can't remember why we went there specifically...but the xmas market there was great, and we got drunk on gluhwein… there was even a Scottish guy playing the bagpipes

I ended up going to Frankfurt back in Dec 18, re my post above.  Was pretty decent the market(s) there.

Don't think any of my friends are interested in an overseas one this year so it'll probably be somewhere local.

I'm hoping to break up on the 13th December (until jan 2nd) and will be doing some kind of road trip in the Netherlands / germany with a couple of mates (assuming they can get the time off work..), but it's not confirmed I will be able to have the time off as I think a load of my colleagues want the time off too..
