Was just coming in to update

After a week of pissing about XPD finally contacted me yesterday to arrange delivery today and it arrived at the back-end of it's slot this morning. I have to say FS were very helpful and polite and I spoke to them a couple of times a day for updates; no problem with them aside from their choice of courier.
Not sure what kicked XPD into gear but they even phoned me twice today pre-delivery to advise me of progress. I did leave a message on their answerphone yesterday suggesting I would report it as a theft if it wasn't sorted soon but I doubt there was much mileage in doing that anyway.

All in all it's arrived a week later than scheduled and is now all set up awaiting first proper use later today.
A bit of a lucky escape relatively speaking where XPD is concerned.

XPD are a joke but they have been for a long time, FS aren't doing themselves any favours sticking with them.

Enjoy the new toy

I ordered a £1000 treadmill from FS around 18 months ago. XPD were the delivery company.
Again we we told a late afternoon slot which came and went. Unfortunately I was working away from home that night and it was being handled by my wife. I chose to intervene later that evening and rang XPD who said they wasn't going to attempt delivery as it was a 2 man lift. Really? Why even tell me you're coming then? I told them it wasn't acceptable so they agreed to deliver that evening as promised.
My wife called me later that evening to say it had actually been delivered but when she said it was an oldish man that had carried the box to the garage I asked for a photo of the box as he must have been superman carrying an 80kg treadmill on his own! Picture came and it was an elliptical trainer! I phoned them again and they acknowledge the mistake and agreed to collect and deliver the correct package the next day which they did indeed do. Idiots!

It does seem to be the theme; there must be other options out there, surely? People who are spending these amounts would happily spend a little more for a decent courier. "Free delivery" isn't really free when you have to take time off work at short notice

Well big thumbs up for powerhouse fitness. Delivery was scheduled for today, doorbell rang at 9am. All arrived, no issues apart from the 3 hours it took to put it together. Definitely not a one man job
