Ah ye I do enjoy a cigar, but they are one off luxuries really - every now and then. Wouldn't class myself as a proper smoker though. Thanks for the consideration with it! Made me think extra.

So I'm thinking of going with the cool fire:

Awesome - so the vape club one is the one to go for right? The extra stuff in the kit will help down the line I guess and worth it?

Had a look on that site at some of the juices and was after an apple one however the 0mg nicotine isn't available at the moment.

Now, apologies again, but I'm overwhelmed by the choices of flavours and so any recommendation from your own personal taste (I was after something fruity) would be appreciated! The VG thing started confusing me so just need to make a decision and get it order before 5pm tomorrow ha!

Well it's as good a place as any to buy from as a start. Used them prob 12 time or more and everything has came next day.

Like you say its quite a personal thing with juices we like so can't make too many reccomendations but defo try heisenberg from vampire vape, The cloud company stuff is very good. As is Suicide bunny. And Clown-Pennywise liquid was amazing. (Remember sweets nerds?) Smells like them. Top class flavour.
All you can do is have a browse and try something. Bit dearer now we're stuck with 10ml bottles tho.

Sweet - going to go with the full kit and that heisenberg liquid from vapeclub tonight. Missed the 5pm deadline, but should be able to report back on Thursday following delivery

Update: Ordered the vape kit, heisenberg liquid and the strawberry custard suicide liquid both 0mg nicotine Excited!

A couple of general vaping questions that I have are:
1. How long is a typical vaping session? Is it similar length to a normal cigarette or longer if the user wants?
2. How long do they typically last - I notice the one I've ordered has 3300mah battery?
3. Will I need to replace parts often (I don't intend on using that often - once a day maybe?)

In regards to you questions (well 1 & 2), a vaping session can last as long or as short as you require in all honesty.
Myself I normally vape for around as long as I used to smoke a cigarette when I'm at work but at home I'm normally vaping a lot more as I vape in the house of an evening.

My Alien with 3000mah batteries lasts around 2-3 days but I'm only vaping at 57w but if I use my Cloud Beast tank (@90w) I'd say around 1-1½ days.

I normally get around 2-3 weeks out of coils as I mix my own liquid without sweetener (which is a coil killer) but again its really down to how much you use it and what kind of juice you will use.

So I've had the vape thing a few days now, and once I realised I have to hold the power button to vape (!), I've been vaping away. The flavour comes across really well, but I do feel like the e-cig misses out on the 'hit' from normal smokes...but wondered whether it's because I have 0mg stuff. At the moment, bar the taste, it feels kinda pointless and the main reason I bought it was because of my craving following a whisky or two to have a smoke.

Any thoughts on this maybe?

Yeah it will be because of the 0mg, can tell a big difference between 3 & 6mg so i guess 0 will be very smooth (never tried)
If have never smoked or never had nicotine then no point in getting into it just for a hit.
Could try some 50/50 or 60/40 (vg/pg) liquids they will give more of a throat hit.
