The Playdate is expected to ship in early 2020, but it’ll go up for pre-order later this year for $149. That price also covers a dozen games that will be delivered to the game system one at a time, with new titles arriving weekly. "

They've got a big feature on this in the latest issue of Edge magazine. I think it looks pretty quirky and cool.
