So about 5 or 6 years ago the HDD died on my 360. I never bothered to fix it and stuck with PS3 as it was also being used as a Blu-Ray player at the time.  However, I recently dug it out of the loft and was pleased to discover it is possible to fix it, and even upgrade the size with just about any hard drive, so my old box is back up and running again in my 'retro' cabinet, as it also replaces my old and tired OG Xbox 1 (not One). Wow, had forgotten just how noisy this beast is, but at least I can install to HDD now.

Anyway, since they are dirt cheap these days I started to pick up a few old 360 games I missed (let's say just about everything since 2010), so anyone want to recommend me a few games? I have played most multi-platforms on PC or PS3, so quirky and/or exclusive titles preferred.

Just picked up Halo Reach, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata and Ninety-Nine Nights from eBay for a total of about 7 quid. There must be others worth a look?

I really enjoyed Halo Reach.  I won't spoil the story for you if you haven't already played it, but some of the cutscene events were awesome!

Vanquish is a good 'retro' 360 game.  Being remastered for XB1/PS4 at the moment, I believe.  But the graphics were good for the time and the game play was smooth and great fun.  You should check it out.

Personally I really enjoyed Binary Domain. So cheesy at times, but it really did feel fun and satisfying to play. An unexpected gem.

If you like things a little creepy and mysterious then give Alan Wake a try.

Thanks! I have Alan Wake on PC, but I had missed Binary Domain even on PS3. Exactly the type of thing I am after, and just found a 360 copy for 2 quid.
