If I do, it'll be on the Wii U. I had the Wii games and they were pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but the typically zany Anime story and good cast of characters made them worth a playthrough. I think they rereleased them on 3DS..

I prefer portable whenever I can.  Means I can play it and take it anywhere.  But then again, I rarely get a go at the TV with my family.  A wife and 4 kids?  The kids can happily have the TV imo while I spend some time with my wife or get a bash on ma Veets or 3DS with peace and quiet, lol.

DO NOT BUY!  I REPEAT: DO NOT BUY!!!

Unless you have a circle pad pro!  It does not change the view to be behind you the whole time so you have to change the view on the touch pad.  Waste of my money.  Also, there is no English audio and the story moves really quickly, almost like a comic book in that it changes scenes abruptly and doesn't really give you enough time to read through everything and see what's going on at the same time.

I'd give it a 4/10 without a CPP and a 6/10 with it.  But then again, I've only played about an hour's worth and not with a CPP because I do not have one.  Uncertain if I'm going to buy a CPP or just trade this game in.
