First Gaming PC

Hi all, i am going to be getting my first dedicated gaming pc. i am going with a prebuilt since i do not have a whole lot of knowledge of the components. I figured this way i could upgrade in the future and use that to learn a little bit. This is a beginner pc and i know i am not going to run everything on max settings. The CPU will be a Ryzen 5 1600, mother board is a ASUS B450 prime plus, GPU is a Geforce GTX 1660 6GB.

I really appreciate any help that can be given.

How much do you want to spend? Will you be gaming at 1080p - or higher?

I would like to keep the whole setup including monitor under $1000. 1080p is fine with me, I dont need it to be anything crazy.

Would you mind posting the full details of the pre-build? I can't see it on the link. Particularly interested in the PSU.

For the CPU, worth considering one of the new Ryzens, e.g. the 3600 is fantastic value.

You could do a lot better than the  ryzen 1600 , ( don't get wrong it still a good CPU but it's about 2.5 years now )
try and have a look for the 2600 or if your budget will allow the this years 3600 ( but i know money can be tight these days )   b450 mother board will be just fine (or a BIOS update to run the 3600)  ,  but try and get about  16gb of ram at about 3000 or 3200mhz  
the 1660 will be fine at 1080 p gaming  at high settings , but at  1440p  your going to have to drop the settings down a bit ( still not a bad thing tho )

as richard70 said- post the spec list , as well as the PSU,
as sometimes pre-built systems tend to have basic/sh*te power units .
