Need a gaming laptop (UK)

This is who I went with. I built one with a RTX 2070 and it's been great so far. Best thing is it's nice and plain and doesn't remotely look like your typical gaming laptop.

The 700 has an i7 but a smaller screen. For your budget and if it absolutely has to be from Curry's I'd get the Dell G3. I've had a couple of dell gaming laptops and think they are great.

How big a difference is there between I7 & I5 is the Predator Triton 500 I5 still the best choice for a budget of £1300

The Triton 700 u listed is only using a1060gtx, appalling value, avoid

Just to clarify the Triton 500 with the I5 is still really good? All the reviews are the Triton 500 with the I7. But I watched a side by side and the Triton 500 I5 ran almost as good as the Triton 500 I7.

Yes it will for gaming, only CPU heavy games which can make use of the extra cores will see a boost with the i7 model

Between those two I would take the i5 I don't think it's worth 1350 but the i7 version is never in a million years going to be worth 1800

The only thing I’ve noticed is the I5 only has8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. Is that bad?
