I suspect you are correct. If new SIM doesn't work I will contact Plusnet and discuss. I did look at APN settings on more than one occasion, but all the options for changing them are greyed out, so they cannot be changed.
Thank you again for your time, and I will update you if and when I get to the bottom of it.

Just to back up Barnie1528, I have Nokia 5 and exactly the same thing has happened, almost the same Months. i.e. Data used to work now doesn't.
Plusnet sim, data works fine in UK, but the moment we drive off the ferry/train, the data stops working, and this is in France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. I have completed all things mentioned above and advised, and received a new sim and this still does not work, IN This Phone.
Tried resets, different APN settings, turned roaming on/off, 'airplane 'on/off.
Transferred sims between phones, none work in the Nokia 5, all work elsewhere in other phone.

Read elsewhere, it has had something to do with a Update earlier this year? Anyone know anything.

You are taking it way too personally and completely the wrong end of stick. It is human nature to want to avoid sifting through a wall of information to identify what is relevant. It is constructive feedback the presentation of any problem matters. You are welcome since post 13 the forum has stopped asking for a concise summary and instead the forum is closer to identifying it is an Update conflict issue. Good luck with what you find out

I am sorry that you have the same issue, but feel better that it's not just me. The update was some time between 12th April and 14th May 2019 (the dates between returning to the UK and being abroad again.

Hi again,
Just a thought. You said that none of your SIMS worked in the Nokia. Were they all Plusnet?
Only mentioning this because a Tesco mobile (O2) SIM did actually work in my Nokia.

Also asking the wider community? Huge step, but any advice on major reset?
