Black Friday is a great time to buy electronics, but for xiaomi I use a uk eBay seller. The mi a3 is £179 at the moment

Password1 has a Xiaomi note 5 not a Samsung note 5 , which shows that Xiaomi are good at supporting older phones.

To help anyone with a similar problem I can report that I finally settled on a Moto G7 Plus at just over £200. More than I wanted to pay but superb stereo sound and great call quality
