Sorry to hijack this thread but I'm looking for similar for my daughter's birthday.  I'm not sure about used.  Having said that I had an LG G3 and that was a cracking phone, so the later G7 would be awesome.  I'm not sure about Samsung, I once had a S4 and it was full of annoying bloatware.  I hate all that crap.  The LG G3 had next to no bloatware which made it a way better phone.

If buying new, I'm guessing the best Moto G, or some Chinese phone like a Xiaomi or an Honor.  Would like a screen size 5.5" or above.  Thanks

This is more suitable in a new thread.

You have set out information about your preferences but little about your daughter's preferences. I would assume a good quality front and back camera are a must.

Thanks Steven, it's for my daughters 10th birthday.  The camera's would be a decent addition, her current Moto G 2nd gen doesn't have best of camera's.  I don't expect it to be as good as an Iphone though, although I guess some Andriod phones are as good.  I'm looking for an an android phone with 5.5" screen minimum, and a bit of processing power as she likes games.  Not majorly graphic intensive one at the moment though.  Thanks.

I think the Motorola G7 would be perfect.?  Approx £240 and it has a 6.24" screen.

Thanks they do seem to be great value.  These used to have no bloatware, I hope they are still the same.  I can't stand all that rubbish personally..

I'm strongly considering one of these myself.  The latest Samsungs are ridiculously expensive and I don't like/trust the Chinese branded phones.
The G7 looks like great value for money.

Do not rule out previous gen Samsung (or indeed for other brands). New model = previous models suffer depreciation, but they remain more than capable handsets

That's a good list thanks.  I had read about the Honor Play.  I have a work Iphone, and the camera is the only good thing I can say about it.  Everything else is not as good as Android.  It's good to know that Android can be better too, thanks.
