Listening to Deezer Via Stereo system

Hi, I'm hoping to get some advice here as I've gone round and round the WWW looking for answers without any luck, I'm not really sure what I need...
I recently Upgraded my home HiFi (thats what i called it 40 years ago ) as follows.....Quad 34, Quad 405 ( same as i used 30  years ago with turntable) Kef R500 speakers and Cyrus CD1 unit, Sounds great, I understand the Modern way to listen to music is Streaming ???? , I have Deezer and it's OK on my phone, But I don't understand all the streaming devices available,
Do I need to spend £1,000  to get the best from Deezer to my setup ?
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this and a bigger thanks for any suggestions/help/advice.

Update...Thanks for all the speedy and very helpful advice, i will visit my local Ricersounds store ASAP and probably try the cambridge-cxn-v2,

Depending on your budget here are four steps -

Chromecast Audio £20 but probably needs a better dac to get the best out of it but would do a half decent job for pocket money.
Tuefel/Raumfeld Connector £140, good value for money some on here really rate it. Or Yamaha WAXD10 similar to Tuefel at £120.
Yamaha WXC50 £250 but can be used as a preamp and has subwoofer control.
Bluesounde Node 2i £500 or Cambridge CXN (v2), more up market and can be used as preamps.
Cambridge 851N £1000  upgrade of CXN, again digital preamp.

So to see if it works ok you could get the Chromecast audio, see how it goes and then possibly add something like the Arcam rdac ii or audiolab M-dac later.

As Ugg10 has shown above, no you don't.

Do I take it that you have a Deezer subscription or are you using free Deezer? The quality of streamed music files varies enormously. There's no point spending big if you're only streaming low-quality music files.

Free streaming services usually stream in low quality (compressed MP3) and a Google Chromecast Audio (CCA) would be more than good enough for that (I use a CCA with free Deezer and it works perfectly).

The quality of paid-for, subscription music streaming services also varies but tends to be of higher quality than the free services. Deezer premium streams MP3 files at 320kbps which is decent but not exceptional. Deezer HiFi streams FLAC files at 16-bit, 1,411 kbps lossless, which is CD quality, allegedly. Personally, I wouldn't spend big on a streamer for anything other than the HiFi quality service.

There is a switch on the back of the WCX-50 allowing you to disable the Pre-Amp feature. I think this uses a pretty powerful ARM processor so it should be very responsive.

I believe the price on the Cambridge has recently gone down, so at £550 they are a bargain. I could be wrong, but I thought they were recently £750.

                               
The Cambridge is more of a full sized component, where as they Yamaha are more compact discrete models.

Not disagreeing with any of  the other answers ..but you could continue to use your phone and get one of the usb DACs which will plug into the phone. The Cyrus Soundkey,which I use, is at a discount price at oresent with Richer sounds . The output from that would be a good match for the Quad universe, as it outputs a maximum of 2 volts . Basically it would just mean using the phone  as before but sticking this gizmo between it and the Quad Aux input..
But as others have said, the now difficult to find Chromecast Audio, is the best cheap ,but very good option. Basically what happens is that you select the source..say Deezer as at present, and press a  logo on the phone called cast. The Chromecast picks up the same web address and takes it from there. The phone can be used for anything else and the Chromecast will merrily play away for days.

Regarding casting via Deezer...
The Deezer app on my android phone will not let me cast directly because I do not pay for a subscription.
But if I select casting on the phone (outside the Deezer app) it works fine.
However I found that it is much trickier to cast to a Chromecast audio from an iPhone than fro android. If you use an iPhone for streaming Deezer, you may have to look at a product from the apple family rather than the Chromecast (eg airport express).
