In addition, for best results,  you are certainly going to have to do something about Room Acoustic, so where in the room will the system be place relative to the windows?

There are lots of option relative to room acoustics, so you are not dead in the water even with a large open floorplan room filled with windows. But especially in that room, Acoustic definitely need to be considered.

I found I am not an audiophile. The best portable speakers will do it. Gonna set up 3 zones, to avoid a delay. Will run them separately, dep where I'm listening. Can't be hard to set up, one way or another. Ea with 2 or 1 speaker. Each zone has different acoustics. Will update.

How did you find you are not a Audiophile ... considering you were willing to spend thousands on this project?

If the Bose works in that room, then perhaps it is not as bad as it might seem. But I Bose would NOT be my first choice. I would consider looking at a decent Amp and perhaps the Monitor Audio Silver 100 Bookshelf Speakers. These are bookshelf speakers with 8" bass drivers.

Monitor Audio Silver 100 (Walnut) Bookshelf speakers at Crutchfield                                                                                                        FREE 2-day Shipping:  Floor-standerperformance from bookshelf-sized speakers    I like to think of Monitor Audio's Silver 100 bookshelf speakers as a                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                www.crutchfield.com
Large as Bookshelf go, but not a huge speaker.

As to 3 Zones us that in that one larger room. Three speakers per amp channel is not going to work well relative to coming up with a functional impedance for the Amp. Best to go with 4 pair of speakers, they can be wired so that FOUR have the functional impedance of a single speaker.

These two Diagrams are for  4 speakers in a single cabinet, but the wiring principle is the same -

Also, what kind of speakers are you going to use? Bookshelf? In-Ceiling? Ceiling mounted bookshelf? Other?

As to outlets, while you don't have a lot of wall space, if this is new construction, Outlets can be placed in the FLOOR. There are special plates made just for this. Check with your Contractor. Have them placed near where you suspect your stereo will be placed  and any other place where is might be convenient.

Given that a single Bose speaker seemed to get the hob done, I'm curious why you rejected a centrally place Stereo.

Also, you have yet to clearly declare your working budget.

I finalized by adding 2 smaller spkrs at the opposite end of room. No delay as a tuning function allows spkrs to adjust. The Sonos app is very flexible with volume between spkrs, allowing perfect balance in the middle of the room. Btw Sonos was originally suggested, above. I should have tested the room with my puny Bose spkr months ago, as I did 2 days ago. Thanx again.
