thank you - yes auto area.
Ive cleared the fault and this time on opening the panel no tamper.
Added new keypad which showed tamper fault!
Anyhow , Im able to close uo arm and disarm and when in user mode ( not engineer) I haven tamper alert.
thanks for your help , I'll texecom in the am if a problem persists.
Will add SmartCom in texecom technical working hours!!

I’ve read good reports of their technical support, but haven’t used it myself. Alert messages on the keypad are funny things and some need an arm/disarm cycle to clear, whereas battery faults (lead acid one) seem to be checked at some point during the night.

I can understand the need in commercial installs, but for home users the tamper circuit can be a nuisance. I’d restrict it to the outside bell, whereas panel and each keypad has a tamper switch (let alone sensors).
