I can't even enter the service menu - when I press info, 5, vol , standby the TV turns on and something that looks like the service menu is displayed for 1-2 secs then the display returns to normal. Do I have to hold some of the key(s) to make it stay?

hi i have the same issue:
i have two 40S4000 LCD TVs and the  i 5  v Power on code is working on one, i get into the service menu.
BUT on the other tv the service menu just pops up and disappears immediately. Why is that and how can i circumvent it?

Hi guys. Did anyone sort this problem. I have the very same issue. stuck on test screen. Mines hidden, can't get my TV back. Please help! Thanks.
