Android gaming with a controller

I've dipped into this several times over the years and always been left thinking what's the point? I own a playstation and it's a much better experience.

I've just got a new tablet, the Pixel C and decided to give it another go with a better controller. I've tried numerous cheap ones in the past, plus slightly better Moga models. Again, it's always ultimately been a disappointment.

My new controller is the steel series stratus xl, it cost quite alot more but initially seems worth every penny. It's a bit of a combo of the Xbox and ps4 controllers.

I've tried Dead trigger 2 which works well but I had to map each button which I'm not mad on. Then I tried Modern Combat 5 which recognised the controller and has the buttons pre mapped out. It's flawless so far, perfect graphics and great controls.

Can anyone recommend any other games that work so well with controllers? I guess looking at other gameloft titles is a start. I'm away from home quite a lot so can see myself gaming alot more than I used to.
