I'm surprised that Hook is in, pleased for him. I sincerely hope he gets some game time against the big 3 and not just played against Tonga.

Poor Matthew Rees. If he's got what I think he's got I've had that operation. He'll think someone is kicking him in the balls every hour on the hour. Mind you my missus reckoned I had micro surgery.

It's interesting, though understandable I guess, that they haven't elaborated on what the issue is.

He was in the programme to start on Saturday and then we realised he wasn't out for the warm-up. Just assumed he was injured.

On the Beeb last night Sam reckoned he could be back training within 6-weeks, which would be great. Just hope he doesn't rush back too soon. Health is much more important than 11,000 eeejits in pink hats shouting at you from the terraces

Oh dear Saints humbled yet again and at home.I f ever the Irish can iron out their provincial differences they will be truly formidable.For me they have the right domestic structure but have required the right leadership to take them forward on the international stage .I get the feeling they have that leadership now
