Played at a lovely course today, Owston Hall Robin Hood Golf Club, great condition and very nice greens. Struck the ball superbly but my putting was awful, 3 putted twice and missed numerous birdie chances inside 6 foot. Going to American Golf tomorrow for a Taylormade Ghost Spider Putter.....

A decent round finally - strange hardly played in 4 weeks apart from wednesday there.

Lost a ball at the 1st and a ball at the 13th - 3 putted from about 50 ft at the last. 79 less 11 for 68 nett.

Playing off 11.0 so should get a 0.8 cut as CSS is normally 72

Had about an hour trying out loads.....still ended up with the Ghost Spider. Have always played with Ping Ansers but lately my putting has been crap, hopefully my new putter will change my fortunes on the green.

Good choice, superb balance and much harder for the putter to go off the line like with an Answer style putter.

Got down as low as 7.1 before a combination of my club going under and being sold off as an equestrian centre and chronic back problems pretty much reduced me to a once or twice a year player now

Last time I played I hacked round and struggled to an 86 so the days of shooting gross scores in the mid 70s are gone forever methinks!
